If you choose to use this system you must have a vast amount of money and awesome fortitude to go away when you accrue a tiny win. For the purposes of this story, a sample buy in of two thousand dollars is used.
The Horn Bet numbers are certainly not judged the "successful way to play" and the horn bet itself has a casino advantage of over 12 %.
All you are playing is five dollars on the pass line and a single number from the horn. It does not matter whether it is a "craps" or "yo" as long as you wager it routinely. The Yo is more popular with people using this system for clear reasons.
Buy in for two thousand dollars when you join the table but put only $5.00 on the passline and one dollar on one of the 2, 3, 11, or twelve. If it wins, great, if it loses press to two dollars. If it loses again, press to four dollars and continue on to $8, then to $16 and after that add a one dollar each time. Each instance you do not win, bet the last amount plus an additional dollar.
Adopting this system, if for instance after 15 tosses, the number you chose (11) has not been thrown, you likely should march away. However, this is what could develop.
On the tenth roll, you have a sum total of $126 in the game and the YO finally hits, you gain three hundred and fifteen dollars with a take of $189. Now is an excellent time to step away as it is higher than what you entered the table with.
If the YO does not hit until the twentieth toss, you will have a complete bet of $391 and seeing as current action is at $31, you come away with $465 with your take being $74.
As you can see, using this scheme with just a $1.00 "press," your gain becomes tinier the longer you bet on without succeeding. This is why you must march away once you have won or you have to bet a "full press" again and then advance on with the $1.00 mark up with each hand.
Crunch the data at home before you attempt this so you are very familiar at when this system becomes a losing adventure instead of a winning one.
